Limoncello Food Review/Photography

It’ve been quite a while since my last food review posting. After a break i was ask to attend a food review and take some food shots in the restaurant. The problem with shooting food during review in the restaurant is always rush affair. There are usually at least 8-10 items including appetisers, mains, dessert and drinks. Since we have to taste the food as soon as it is served before it get cold and bland, or worst it melt (for dessert) and get messy. I have to shoot fast. With limited table space to work with, i usually use 1 -2 small flashlights placed on the table and a couple of white cards to filled-in.limoncello_DSC5124

Antipasti Platter 

Calamari, homemade meatball, arancini, chicken wing, caprese, salad nicoise,smoke salmon bruschetta (RM46.80)


Tutti Fruiti

Rocket tossed with pomelo, strawberry, mango, blueberry in a light citrus dressing (RM26.80)


Black Cod Olive

Grilled Atlantic black cod, served with olives,, potato, oregano (RM52.80)


Extra Spicy All’amatriciana

Beef bacon, cili padi (spicy local chilli), onion, topped with fried egg (RM28.80)


Mare E Monti

Prawn, mushroom, truffle oil, potato, mozzarella & tomato (RM38.80)


Banana Crepe

Pancake smothered with creamy nutty chocolate folded with banana and cream (RM18.80)


Panna Cotta

Light and delicate ‘cooked’ cream served with berry coulis (RM18.80)
